8U Winter Development Program

Program Refund Policy The Knoxville Jr. Ice Bears are committed to providing a positive and fulfilling experience for all participants in our sports programs. However, we understand that circumstances may arise that require participants to withdraw from the program. To ensure fairness and transparency, we have established the following refund policy: In the event that the Knoxville Jr. Ice Bears are unable to field a team for a registered age division due to insufficient player registrations, all payments made toward that team’s season dues will be fully refunded to the original payment method. Refunds will only apply if the organization determines that a team cannot be formed or participate for the season. Once a team is officially rostered and the season has commenced, standard program financial commitments remain in effect. Cancellation by Organizer: In the event that we cancel a sports program for any reason, participants will be entitled to a full refund of any fees paid. Participant Withdrawal: If a participant withdraws from the program before the start date, they may be eligible for a partial refund depending on the timing of the withdrawal and any costs incurred by the organizer. Participants withdrawing after the program has commenced June 1st, 2025, may be eligible for a partial refund after the costs incurred, determined by the organizer. Refund Request Procedures: Participants must submit a written refund request to info@provisionhockeyacademy.com specifying the reason for withdrawal. Refund requests must be submitted 10 days prior to the beginning of the session, and requests received after this date may not be honored. Documentation, such as a medical certificate or proof of relocation, may be required to support refund requests. Partial Refunds: A portion of the program fee may be non-refundable to cover administrative expenses, facility rentals, or other costs incurred by Pro Vision Hockey Academy & the Knoxville Jr. Ice Bears USA Hockey Organization. A non-refundable deposit of $500 is required to secure a spot in our travel hockey program. Beginning June 1st, 2025. This deposit ensures commitment to the team and covers initial program costs. No refunds will be issued after August 1st, 2025, regardless of withdrawal or dismissal from the program. Families opting for a payment plan are responsible for completing all scheduled payments. Failure to meet payment obligations may result in suspension from team activities, loss of roster spot, and the account being sent to collections per Tennessee state law. Additionally, no player releases will be granted until the full season dues are paid following Tennessee state laws and USA Hockey regulations. If you request a release from our travel hockey program after August 1st 2025, your full season dues must be paid in full before the request will be processed. No releases will be granted until all financial obligations are met. ACCELERATED LEARN TO SKATE

Accelerated Learn to Skate Program Refund Policy The Knoxville Jr. Ice Bears and Pro Vision Hockey Academy are committed to providing high-quality skating instruction while maintaining fair scheduling and operational practices. This refund policy is designed in accordance with applicable Tennessee consumer protection laws. Registration Cancellation & Refunds Prior to Program Start A full refund, less any non-refundable processing or registration fees, will be issued if a written cancellation request is received at least 7 days before the first scheduled class. Cancellation requests received within 7 days of the program start date will be eligible for a 50% refund. After Program Start No refunds will be issued once the Accelerated Learn to Skate program has begun. Registration fees secure ice time, instructor scheduling, staffing, and program resources that cannot be recovered after the program starts. Medical Exceptions Refund requests due to a documented injury or medical condition preventing participation may be considered on a case-by-case basis. A physician's note may be required. Approved medical refunds will be prorated based on classes attended and may be subject to administrative fees. Missed Classes No refunds, credits, or make-up sessions will be provided for classes missed due to personal scheduling conflicts, vacations, illnesses, transportation issues, or other participant-related circumstances. Program Changes If Knoxville Jr. Ice Bears or Pro Vision Hockey Academy cancels a class or session and a make-up class cannot be provided, a prorated credit or refund may be issued at the organization's discretion. Schedule adjustments due to facility maintenance, weather, or circumstances beyond the organization's control may be accommodated through rescheduling whenever possible. Withdrawal Procedure All refund requests must be submitted in writing via email to the program administration. Verbal requests, social media messages, or requests made through coaches will not be considered official cancellation notices. Acknowledgement By registering for the Accelerated Learn to Skate program, participants and their parents/guardians acknowledge and agree to the terms of this refund policy. Knoxville Jr. Ice Bears & Pro Vision Hockey Academy reserve the right to modify program schedules, instructors, and class formats as necessary while maintaining the overall instructional objectives of the program.

Summer 3v3 League

Knoxville Jr. Ice Bears 3v3 Mite League – Refund Policy All registrations for the Knoxville Jr. Ice Bears 3v3 Mite Development League are considered final upon enrollment. No refunds will be issued once a player is registered and a spot is secured in the program. This includes missed sessions due to scheduling conflicts, illness, or other personal reasons. No make-up sessions are offered for missed ice times. In the event that the league is unable to operate as planned (e.g., insufficient enrollment or facility-related issues at Pro Vision Hockey Academy), a full refund or appropriate credit will be issued.
